Poem

English Text as Printed in the Score

I’m a fisherman. My net was carried into the sea. The world is now empty and, oh, so light for me. And my consolation is that my poverty Needs nothing from the others.

Passing the whole Universe, I’ll walk; humble, Quite and bearfooted; Following the blessed Morning star.
